Take the road into Westport and continue on the one-way system down James Street. Please note that the car park entrance is located just before the hotel on the left hand side, just after the Tourist Office. The Clew Bay Hotel is located on the bottom of this street, on the left side. Follow the road as it swings right onto Shop Street and right again onto James Street. Continue straight ahead, go over the Bridge and go straight up Bridge Street in the right hand lane. This route is 66 miles, and should take around 1.5 hours.Īs you approach Westport, go straight through the first set of traffic lights, past the Courthouse (on your left hand side). Follow signs to Westport for approx 10 miles. At Charlestown turn right onto the N5 signposted for Castlebar & Westport. You will pass throught the towns of Tubbercurry, Curry & Charlestown. At the second roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted for Galway & Westport on the N17. Leaving Sligo by the N4 route until the roundabout at Colloney. This route is 49 miles and should take around 1.2 hours. Continue for 18 miles until you come to Westport (then follow the directions from the Ballinrobe Road R330 section on this page). Once you reach the village of Partry (after Ballinrobe) turn left onto the R330 following the signs to Westport. Rejoin the N84 at Ballinrobe and follow the signs for Castlebar through the town centre. Keep straight ahead onto the R334 (signposted for Cong & Ballinrobe) but heading for Ballinrobe. Leave Galway city and follow the N84 to Headford. This route is 155 miles and should take around 3.5 hours (plus rest stops). Follow the directions as per the N5 Castlebar Road arriving into Westport. Continue forward on the N5 going through the towns of Termonbarry, Strokestown, Tulsk, Frenchpark, Ballaghaderreen & around Charlestown on a bypass. Follow the N4 bypass around Longford, looking for the N5 turning towards Castlebar & Westport. Continue around Mullingar and Longford on the M4 (becoming the N4 approaching Longford). When the M6 (towards Athlone & Galway) and the M4 (towards Mullingar & Longford) divurge, take the M4. print a blurb illustrating the order in which data was received head has been moved away from tail so there's data there Serial.println( "No new data received." ) if the head and tail are the same, there's no new data Here's an example of what I talked about: /* That way you have padding space in your buffer to accept new data while still processing older stuff. If you think the data is "bursty" - comes in rapidly in quick bursts - and you might get around to processing the data some time later, consider making the buffer bigger than the burst size. You should be able to process data in a buffer reasonably quickly. If so, you can have the buffer overrun problem you want to check and prevent that. So when incrementing the head pointer you need to verify it doing so would cause the head to catch up to the tail. If another byte comes in before you process the value pointed to by ptrTail you'll overwrite the value there and lose the "oldest" data in the buffer. You get a byte of data so array = data and you bump ptrHead now it becomes 8 because it equals the size of the array you reset its value back to zero. Suppose ptrHead equals 7 and ptrTail equals 0. You could use 4 if you know you'll process data as fast as it comes in. Make an array of size 'N' (in your case, N=4).Ĭreate two variables (uint8_t is fine as the array size is 0, 1, 2. PRO TIP: Adobe Photoshop is a powerful image editing software with many capabilities. The wave function is a measure of the surface accuracy of the mirror. Don't buy a diagonal for its reflectivity measure, buy it for its wave measure, with a 1/10 wave mirror being better than, say, a 1/4 wave mirror. The real selling point for this little star diagonal is its 1/10th wave mirror. Comments:ĭon't be put off by the no-frills, plain plastic body of the GSO 1.25 star diagonal, it's a great little performer and an excellent value. Nothing specific, maybe the plastic housing. Very good mirror, lightweight, best value in star diagonals out there. It not meant for use with Newtonian / Dobsonian reflector telescopes or other variants of Newtonian telescopes.Ĥ.0 Very nice, lightweight star diagonal Pros: Please Note: This diagonal can only be used with refractor telescopes and some catadioptric telescopes like Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov-Cassegrain, etc. The diagonal comes with 2 end caps and weighs 3.8oz. The 1.25" nosepiece is threaded to accept standard 1.25" astronomy filters. The prism housing is made of precision molded ABS plastic and the two end barrels are precision machined from aluminum. It can also be used for astronomy applications, especially when you would like to match the orientation of the star field with "correct" star maps and charts. This is a great diagonal for daytime terrestrial use with small telescopes or spotting scopes. It produces an image that is oriented properly, which means that the image is upright and correct from left to right (i.e., a correct, non-inverted, non-reversed image). GSO's 1.25" 90-degree diagonal features an image erecting Amici prism that allows you to look into a telescope at a 90 degree angle. This involves maximizing or minimizing a linear objective function subject to linear constraints. Linear programming: Gaussian elimination can be used to solve linear programming problems. This is important in many fields, such as physics and engineering, where eigenvalues and eigenvectors are used to study the behavior of physical systems. This is useful in many applications, such as cryptography and optimization problems.Įigenvalues and eigenvectors: The Gaussian elimination method can be used to compute the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a matrix. Inverse matrix: The inverse matrix of a matrix can be computed using Gaussian elimination. This is particularly useful in engineering and science applications, where linear equations are used to model physical systems. Solving systems of linear equations: The Gaussian elimination method is commonly used to solve systems of linear equations. Here are some of the applications of the Gaussian elimination method: It is important to note that if a pivot element is zero, you must interchange that row with another row below it that has a non-zero element in the same column before proceeding with the elimination process.įollowing these steps will allow you to solve systems of linear equations using Gaussian elimination. Substitute that value into the second-to-last row and solve for the corresponding variable, and so on until all variables have been solved for. Start with the last row and solve for the variable corresponding to the pivot element. Solve the system by back-substitution.Move to the next row and repeat steps 2 and 3 until the matrix is in upper triangular form. This is done by subtracting multiples of the first row from the subsequent rows. Use elementary row operations to make all the elements below the pivot in the same column equal to zero.Choose a pivot element, which is the first non-zero element in the first row.Write the augmented matrix of the system, which consists of the coefficients and the constants of the equations. To perform Gaussian elimination on a system of linear equations, follow these steps: These resourceful chefs had to make the most of what they had, which undoubtedly resulted in some unusual stir-fries. It’s popular throughout the country, especially in the Midwest, the South, and New England.Īs the name suggests, chop suey has some Chinese origin, though it’s possibly the brainchild of Chinese-American immigrants working on the railroads during the 1840s Gold Rush. Pippin the Musical with Music and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz He has turned into the most loving, obedient, fun loving dog we ever known and I would thoroughly recommend a bullboxer to anyone. They contacted us a couple of times about thoroughbred staffordshire bull terriers that were a couple of years old, neither of which got on with our dogs and then they called to say they had imported Bullboxer puppies from Ireland, about four months after we registered our interest, we saw them and instantly fell in love with the wee man. As they find staffies more difficult to foster than most other breeds of dogs, they are happy to call you if something comes in. We also said we would be interested in a staff cross under a year old. We explained that we were looking for a medium sized cross terrier puppy, with a preference for a staff cross and were willing to wait for it. Hello Ben, we already had two other rescue dogs and we registered our interest in another with The Dog Trust. Peggy and Dolly’s bums have hardly touched their office seats today and Kai, Ally and myself have been in and out of the offices to follow shouts of “Look what he’s doing now!”Īnyway, I better actually get some work done today - Myself, Kai and Ally will be here until 10pm this evening if anyone needs us! (inbetween making sure wee Fred is okay!) The girls, Dave and Shug, (our other two dogs), have been bullying him, but I’m sure that will stop, as within 4 months, he’ll be bigger and stronger than both of them, as a bullboxer can grow to be 120 pounds! He is pure white with a ginger spot on one eye and he’s a little darling! We all started work this morning at 6am, as usual, but from 2pm onwards, there wasn’t a stroke of work carried out, not by anybody in the office! Why, because of the arrival of our new puppy! Fred, (yes, that’s his name), is a bullboxer a cross between a boxer and a staffordshire bull terrier. Fred The Boxer / Staff Cross Puppy - Bullboxer |
